Sister School Program
Wilchester Elementary supports Buffalo Creek Elementary as part of SBISD's Sister School Solution Program. The program is designed to improve education and support teachers’ needs. We also support students directly, in partnership with Communities in School.
Both schools benefit from a community partnership that instills values of service and giving back. Keep an eye out in the PTA blast for ways to volunteer and donate items during the year. We host several Teacher Appreciation events for the staff, such as stocking the fridge or providing catered lunch.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Blessings in a Backpack team for our sister school invites you to help deliver weekend food on Fridays. You can volunteer once or on a repeated basis. To sign up and for more information, please click here.
