Sign up for WCE Advocacy Emails Here!!
Texas Council of PTAs recommends each campus have an advocacy rep to share local and state updates with parents. We will send a few emails each month - never more than once per week - with nonpartisan information that impacts our schools and our students.
Examples of e-newsletters may include: a summary of recent school board meetings or updates from the Texas legislative session.
You will be able to opt out at any time.
Questions? Contact Courtney Prochaska, cpro.courtney@gmail.com
Join us for a PTA Meeting, on Friday, September 5th at 8am in the Wilchester cafeteria. You'll hear lots of great information about Fall events and our year ahead, Bring your coffee!
Immediately following the meeting, we will be having our All Grade Coffee and Wilchester volunteer opportunities 101. This is a great way to learn about all the committees Wilchester offers and have the chance to sign up to volunteer.
Due to the safety procedures, please make sure to RSVP by September 3rd to expedite the check-in process.
Let’s give our wonderful Wilchester staff an occasional break from lunch duty so that they can enjoy lunch as a grade level team! We’ve chosen our monthly Teacher Appreciation Luncheon days to help cover lunch duty for our teachers.
Please only sign up for one slot for each child so we can allow everyone to get a chance! If they don't fill up we will send out again.
Lunch duty involves getting students into the lunch line, helping to open food containers, and reminding students to stay in their seats. An administrator will be available to help with any behavior issues or other incidents.
**YOU MUST BE REGISTERED AS AN SBISD VOLUNTEER TO PARTICIPATE!

Bayou City Blessings in a Backpack needs YOUR help to deliver and distribute weekend food bags to our sister school, Buffalo Creek Elementary.
Each Friday, we provide over 650 bags of food for students, and we rely on volunteers to:
- Pick up the bags from Holy Spirit and take them to BCE
- Help distribute them at BCE
If you’re able to lend a hand, please sign up. We’d love your support!
